Division of Labor & Human Capital Research

The division of labor and human capital was established in 2000. It has been one of the Key Disciplines (Labor Economics) of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences since 2003. This division is the only research team in CASS that focuses on labor and human capital research. The main research fields of this division include the theory of labor market and demographic transition, human capital, health economics, employment and unemployment, labor market institutions, migration and labor mobility, and income distribution.
